BAM provides a complete warehousing and distribution service Australia wide through our own sites and our approved selected service partners.
PROOF OF
DELIVERY
Data from your Proof of Delivery (POD) is captured using a combination of optical character recognition and optical mark recognition.
Our customers can view their PODs securely online via our Web Management System, using their private account login details.

All stock is managed using the automated Warehouse Management System.

Our BAM sites all provide temperature controlled storage. This ensures that our customer’s products remain at all times in the best possible condition, all year round.

BAM receives and dispatches a high volume of containers on behalf of our customers.
Route and Linehaul Transport
We focus on providing a quality standard delivery service in all metro locations using a range of smaller capacity vehicles as well as trucks and semi-trailers for servicing larger consignments.
Express services are also available nationally when required.
Both FTL and LTL linehaul services are provided by our selected partners.
WAREHOUSING
BAM’s warehousing operation is the engine of our service offered to our customers. Any variety of warehouse activity is possible and no request is considered too hard.
Our main warehouse functions include:
- Order management
- RF driven pick-and-pack and consolidation
- Cross dock of route and linehaul deliveries
- Container stuffing and de-stuffing
- Re-pack, labelling and fulfillment activities
TECHNOLOGY
BAM uses a paperless warehouse technique – Radio Frequency (RF) terminals for performing warehouse functions such as picking, receiving and moving stock within the warehouse. This provides BAM with increased efficiencies to ensure accurate picking and receiving of product by scanning product barcodes and the real-time updates of all stock records.
EDI capability
BAM currently use Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) techniques for order processing. Customer orders are directly sent through to our WMS for processing. The WMS is capable of integrating with a number of ERP platforms through EDI. This system then allows us to reduce our labour cost which we can then pass on the savings to our customers.
Scan Pack and SSCC label functionality
The software we use allows BAM to confirm to the delivery requirements of the major retail stores such as Woolworths and Coles. We have the capability to produce a SSCC label for each logistics unit delivered into a Woolworths DC.
The implementation of Scan Pack provides the added benefit to our clients who trade electronically with Coles.
